Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind Daily laundering for older children, individual cots Continuous health & safety training for Owner and staff, including first aid and CPR certification adult and child pediatric Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safety “Covid” Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access Ensuring lower teacher-student classroom ratios than required by the state.

Enhanced Health & Safety Practices

During this time of enhanced concern, each Owner and Hall’s Family Academy Leadership Team are continuing to stay up-to-date with the latest state and local guidelines, licensing requirements, and CDC guidelines regarding the safety and well-being of your child. With a clear appreciation of the trust you place in them, Owners commit to follow stringent health and safety requirements as well as to meet or exceed the guidelines from local and state officials. We have implemented enhanced procedures to limit the spread of COVID-19 and are frequently communicating with families and staff to convey the enhanced measures in place within our Daycare.
